Patricia grew up in a small-town in rural California. As a teenager, she worked in various jobs in the family's newspaper and printing business. There, old letterpress type, remnants of
an earlier age, still lingered in corners and storage bins-impressed themselves into her memory.
Her love of combining imprinted imagery with function is the ribbon that connects her career path-from newspaper reporter and editor to running a design firm and, finally
to her work in clay.
She wandered into her first clay class 18 years ago with the intention of enjoying a little creative exploration not tied to meeting the needs of clients. Instead, she found a whole
new world-and has been exploring its various paths ever since.
Since 2007, Patricia has been living and working in Cambria. an artist colony on the Central Coast. The Vault Gallery is now thrilled to represent Patricia's more innovated stoneware sculpture pieces.
