Artist Steve Johnston

Born in Glasgow in 1956, Steve was the original photographer and inventor of the “Straight Up” style of photo at i-D Magazine.

Steve exhibits in London at the Graffick Gallery along with Artist Banksy

Steve has work published in various books and magazines including the Pink Punk Book. Smile i-D , Vogue and Time Magazine. Steve has been exhibited in the Tate Gallery in London, the Howard Gallery and Metropolitan Museum of Art New York.

Steve is represented in the permanent collection of the Arts Council of England.

Returning to his first love of painting in 1991 Steve has exhibited throughout the UK and USA, Canada, Australia and Singapore. The Vault Gallery is pleased to now exhibit Steve's paintings here in California.
